Nov. 8-11

Chattock--Big Dam. Up at 4:30--Breakfast at Dawn. I go and skin a bear's head and salt the hide. And then walk 7 miles up Old River Trail. A Bob cat hang on pine limb at Rightmyer. 2 large bucks hang Camp Seward. I see a large deer in Cold River at mouth of Seward Brook.

At Cold River Town Hall. Big Dam. I clean camp--make new bed....I drive out mice and set a trap. I look over my city streets --Cold River.

I boil bear's head. I pick up fallen Wigwam. I wait for Air Plane to bring supplies--no come.

Nov. 25, 1950

Cold River--Ampersand Pond. Cloudy and fierce wind. Snow all gone.

I recanvas Town Hall roof where wind raise hell. I find gallon glass jug full of sugar hid since 1934....Hunting Season close.
